Voices of the Golden Ghosts

Did you know that by the 1850s, over 2000 African Americans were mining gold in California? Artist and filmmaker, Mark Oliver has turned his stage production, Voices of the Golden Ghosts, into an exhibition that delves into hidden history of these miners and other people of African descent living and working in our region.
