Exhibitions Opening Reception

Wednesday, November 1, 2017 - October has been an exciting month at Turtle Bay Exploration Park, due in-part to the grand openings of three new exhibitions in the museum; Material Culture: Form, Function & Fashion; Art Exposed: Turtle Bay’s Permanent Collection; and Smokejumpers. To celebrate these openings, Turtle Bay, Five Star Bank and Redding Rancheria Community Fund of the Shasta Regional Community Foundation hosted a mixer in the museum to recognize the generosity that made these exhibitions possible. Five Star Bank and Redding Rancheria have a long history of supporting Turtle Bay and have both contributed to the impact Turtle Bay has on the local community, furthering its commitment of inspiring wonder, exploration, and appreciation of our world.
