International Museum Day at Turtle Bay
Thursday, May 18, 2023
International Museum Day is yet another opportunity for Turtle Bay to connect with our community and celebrate the value that our museum brings to people of all ages and walks of life. Each year, the International Council of Museums chooses a universal theme that organizations all over the world can recognize and resonate with. Museums, Sustainability, and Well-Being is the theme for the 2023 International Museum Day. These all-encompassing ideas aim to bring up discussions of fostering positive change and inclusivity, supporting climate action, and raising awareness of how we can better care for our planet. So how does the Turtle Bay Museum honor these important topics day after day? Let’s find out!
Our mission is to inspire wonder, exploration, and appreciation of our world. We envision Turtle Bay as a vibrant gathering place where our community is strengthened through education, cultural engagement, and economic growth.
