Adopt-An-Animal
With Turtle Bay’s Adopt-an-Animal program, you can choose an animal to be a part of your family. Your gift will play an important role in feeding and supporting these cute and curious critters under the care of trained Turtle Bay staff. All animals need lots of love and support, and now you can help provide them with it.
This is Sweet Pea, our featured animal this week for the Adopt-An-Animal program. She was found on a driveway in Shingletown, nearly dead. The people went to throw her away until they realized she was alive. She was only about three weeks old, dehydrated, and emaciated. After nursing her back to health, the rehabber noted that she had a bit of a neurological disorder that causes her to stumble and sometimes fail to stop, therefore running into things. She came to Turtle Bay at eight weeks old on June 20, 2013 and was raised by the trainers.
She has been thriving here at Turtle Bay and everyone who sees her instantly falls in love with her sweetness. The only thing smelly about it is she needs your support.
All adoption levels receive a special adoption greeting card. $50 donation level also receives a Turtle Bay supporter decal. $100 donation level receives recognition on the designated animal’s Adoptive Parent’s page (coming soon). $250 donation level receives a special invitation to meet some of the animals up close and personal at Turtle Bay’s annual Meet-n-Greet! Animals at Turtle Bay are not able to be released into the wild and become our Animal Ambassadors, providing our educational messaging at the Park.
